The E of RESET stands for Energy (insights and meditation)

The E of RESET is Energy.

If you've doing some home remodeling, you might be familiar with "grounding" wire — a safety wire that has intentionally been connected to the earth in order to give excess electrical charges a safe place to go.

For me, meditation is my grounding wire; the place I go to transform my negative charge into positive. Hopefully, you're beginning to feel the same?

If you've seen a few Buddha statues in your day, you've likely noticed him seated in a lotus position, with his right hand touching the Earth. This is known as the Bhumisparsha mudra, or "The Earth Witness," and is said to have occurred the very moment before Prince Siddhartha achieved enlightenment.

(Sounds like a standard Monday morning if you ask me.)

Unlike most of us might, the Buddha stayed seated, allowing his awareness to transform temptation into tranquility, and in a moment of grace, he touched the earth.

The symbolism, for me, is the power of surrendering to the forces of nature around us and within us.

With that in mind, here's a guided meditation for surrender and serenity:

Give it a try, and let me know how it feels to let go into this beautiful globing globe :)

Gratefully,

Kurt
