REST to RESET
That posture of surrender to the sweet spell of stillness.
Seems amazing to me what's present when we let ourselves go quiet.
The senses of our bodies. The stories of our minds.
That middle ground, that hollow sound, where love is ours to find.
To check, and fold, and stay alive; rather than risk our latest bribe.
To gather all our wishes and let them wash away our pride.
And give of our going; what it means to be alive.
At rest in all our waking; to find the other side.
